80 Count ’em

So, I have a new design site and recently I decided to add some of my designs to it. At the moment I have added 80 new products to my shop there and I’m working on new stuff every day. It has been keeping me pretty busy lately and it’s a nice change from making tags all the time. And you know, it’s good to do different things and take a break from things you have been doing for so many years. Making tags has always been a passion of mine but there comes a time when you have to step back from doing the things you’re used to doing and focus on doing something completely different. When that happens, you’ll find all sorts of ways to be more creative.

At least that is what’s happening to me right now. And because I enjoy creating handmade junk journals, all the designs that I have been creating for my shop are ones that I can also use when making new junk journals. And that’s always a good idea to use your own designs when creating anything.  At least I think so. I know using my own designs have kept me from spending more money (that I don’t have, lol) at Etsy on purchasing other peoples junk journal kits. Not that I don’t enjoy using them, it’s more over the fact that funds are low right now and these days I need to keep an eye on what I spend.

So anyway, in my shop I have added a lot of new stuff and designs that I never thought about making either. I was talking to hubs yesterday about designs for men that I could make and he started running off a list of ideas like sports, fishing, cars, etc… And you would think I would have thought of those things myself but alas, I’m just a girl, lol and I don’t think about such things myself. And no, I’m not into any sports. When I was younger I was on the volleyball team in high school and in college I had to choose a sport and the only thing left was golf so I gave that a shot, lol. And I was a little surprised that I actually liked it. Go figure.

Now back to the subject at hand, below are the things hubs thought of and I already whipped up all of them including a few other designs while I was at it. There are 5 new papers added today; Dragons, Castles, Sports, Fishing and Old Cars. And I think they all turned out pretty good considering. So, here are those previews and you can click on each image and it will take you to the product in my shop:

Sports Junk Journal Papers

Fishing Junk Journal Papers

Old Cars Junk Journal Papers

Dragon Junk Journal Papers

Castle Junk Journal Papers

So, what do you think? Nice huh? And you know, for those who don’t create junk journals, all these papers could be used for other things as well. Things like greeting cards, printable stationery and even gift wrapping. The sizes of the papers are so big that the quality of each print will be really nice no matter what you use them for. Just thought some might like that bit of information, lol.

Anyway, I want to thank you for stopping by today and I hope you will come back for a visit again soon. Until then, take care and hugs, Mod Girl.
