New Site and updates

Good morning everyone! After thinking it over I decided to close my 4 Hour Tags group. I am so busy with other things lately that I kept forgetting to send any tag offers through that group so I thought the best plan would be to just remove it. I also bought a new domain the other day and decided to put it to good use. So, my new site is now up and running and it will be about my png tubes that I have made. I am constantly making graphics and removing the backgrounds from them and it’s near impossible to use all those images myself so I thought instead that I would open a paid membership area in order to share them that way.

Now, the price to the paid membership area is only peanuts but the cost of that will help me to keep all my sites online. Almost every other site you find online these days has some sort of ads on them to help pay for there own sites. I have refused to put any ads on my site so the only other option is to try and sell my graphics. Which brings me back to my new site at PNG Tubes.

The new site will also offer freebies (every once in awhile) of png images that I have made and want to share. And instead of creating previews for all my png images I have decided to create tags with them instead. There are 2 reasons behind that. #1 is because I started creating my own images to use in my tag making and #2 is because it would take me forever to create previews for all those images, lol.

What’s Going On?

Good morning friends.

My back has been giving me a fit the past few days so I have been trying to stay flat on my back. Laying on a heating pad seems to be the best option and it helps to make my back feel better. This morning I feel a lot better which is a good thing because I have to make an hour drive to the beach for a pickup on an order I made last week.

Another thing I wanted to share with you is about my site here. My webhost will be doing a maintenance on Friday @ 3:00 EST. It will last around 5 to 6 hours at which time my site will be offline. I just wanted to let you know about that incase you visited my site and you couldn’t see it or you get some type of page error. It’s nothing to worry about. Just some maintenance upgrades that have to be done to make everything run smoother.

Now, because of my back problems I haven’t been able to send any tag offers over the past few days but hopefully after my return from the beach today I will feel better and be able to sit here at the computer to do that. So, you may want to cross your fingers, lol.

Taggers World

So, I added my TaggersWorld.com website back online along with a forum where members could participate in tag challenges, tag tutorials, MOTW and even request tags when they were offered. I am beginning to wonder if that was a bad idea on my part. I added a tag offer and so far there has been 1 person to request that tag and after I made her tag she still has not even checked to see if the tag has been added to the forum or not. Here’s a hint; IT HAS been added and ready for pickup but alas it will be deleted after 1 weeks time and at this rate I doubt she will ever receive it.

So, here lies my problem once again because I had this same problem the first time I added the TaggersWorld.com website and members who did join did the very same thing. They forgot all about the tags they requested so I had to send emails to them to remind them of it. And I look at it like this, if I need to send emails to remind people then why have a forum? I could serve that same purpose by sending emails through an online group instead.

Now, I have thought about doing that. Creating an online group for TaggersWorld. But I’m pretty sure the same thing would happen all over again. No one was interested in the tag challenges or the tag tutorials. All they cared about was the MOTW and the tag offers. And most who added there name to the MOTW activity never wanted to help spoil the MOTW each week either. Which brings me to the conclusion that adding my TaggersWorld site  and online group is and was a mistake. So I will probably end up removing it too. I already removed my TagExtras.com website from my webhost account and reopened my online group with the same name. But TaggersWorld? Nope, I don’t think I will even bother with that one again. I just think it would be a waste of time on my part and since no one seemed too interested in it anyway why should I?
