Yup, it’s that time of the year! Time to spring clean my house and believe me, I’m not looking forward to it either, lol. So far I have cleaned out all the cupboards and drawers in my kitchen and discarded lots of stuff that we never use. It’s hard to believe that a person can collect so much stuff over the years. I’m pretty bad about tossing stuff I never use because somewhere in the back of mind there is always that voice telling me, you might use it later. Well, I never use it later and it just sits there collecting dust so why in the world should I keep it? Because it’s hard to get rid of stuff that’s why, lol.
Anyway, I just sent all the tags for the week through my tag group along with the matching tag extras also. The main reason is because of my spring cleaning agenda. I really need to get my house cleaned and in order. It’s been years since it had a really good cleaning so I plan on doing just that. It’s going to take me awhile to get it all done, because I’ll be going room to room until I’m finished. And all the stuff I want to get rid of will be boxed up and either taken to the GoodWill or saved for yard sale sometime down the road. But that could be a problem because hubs HATES having a yard sale and says to trash the stuff or give it away. But I hate being wasteful. And we DID buy all this stuff so why not make a few dollars from it?
And years ago we did give away an entire truck full of items that we wanted to get rid of. Most were clothing and bedding items and we gave it all away to the Salvation Army. I still have a photo of the back of that truck and all the stuff that was in it. There was so much stuff in there that it went all the way to the top. Years ago we sold stuff at an indoor flea market and someone who was also selling clothes and stuff decided to leave but they didn’t want to take all the stuff with them so they gave it all to us to sell, lol. So we had loads of clothing and all sorts of other items that they didn’t want anymore.
And when we left the indoor flea market we had all this stuff left over so we just gave it to the Salvation Army one day and that was the end of that, lol. It’s amazing isn’t it? I think so. Anyway, that’s all I wanted to tell you about today. I have no new tags to show you today but I might make a new one this morning before hubs wakes up to go to work. Thanks for stopping by and hugs,
