5 new tags

I’m on a roll, lol. 5 new tags. Can you believe it? Wowser’s, lol. And not only am I creating new tags, I’m also creating new graphics to use in those tags too. And I am quite pleased with the way the tags have turned out. I will post previews of them all below and btw, all these tags will be sent to members of my tag group in the future.

This first tag was created using one of the Pinup Construction graphics And all the background images were downloaded from the paid subscription site where I am a member. All the graphics downloaded can be used for commercial use as long as they are not shared in their original form. However, I did create the word art myself, lol.

This second tag was created using one of the Dark and Moody Ladies I created awhile ago. Some of the other images I used are from my tagger kit called “Mocha”.

Autumn Mood tag by Mod Girl

This third tag was created using one of the images from my set of Pinup Teacher graphics. I also used a couple mice from the paid subscription site I was telling you about. I really love how this tag turned out and I had a lot of fun writing all the funny things on the school black board, lol.

This fourth tag was created using one of the images from my Garden Girls graphics. This tag was a lot of fun to make and I think it turned out pretty good, if I do say so myself, lol.

And finally this last tag was created using one of the images from my Quirky Dogs graphics. I really love this tag and how it turned out. The shoes were created by yours truly, lol and I also made the word art myself by picking colors from the background. And the rest of the images I used were from a few of my tagger kits with an Autumn theme.

Spring Cleaning Time

Yup, it’s that time of the year! Time to spring clean my house and believe me, I’m not looking forward to it either, lol. So far I have cleaned out all the cupboards and drawers in my kitchen and discarded lots of stuff that we never use. It’s hard to believe that a person can collect so much stuff over the years. I’m pretty bad about tossing stuff I never use because somewhere in the back of mind there is always that voice telling me, you might use it later. Well, I never use it later and it just sits there collecting dust so why in the world should I keep it? Because it’s hard to get rid of stuff that’s why, lol.

Anyway, I just sent all the tags for the week through my tag group along with the matching tag extras also. The main reason is because of my spring cleaning agenda. I really need to get my house cleaned and in order. It’s been years since it had a really good cleaning so I plan on doing just that. It’s going to take me awhile to get it all done, because I’ll be going room to room until I’m finished. And all the stuff I want to get rid of will be boxed up and either taken to the GoodWill or saved for yard sale sometime down the road. But that could be a problem because hubs HATES having a yard sale and says to trash the stuff or give it away. But I hate being wasteful. And we DID buy all this stuff so why not make a few dollars from it?

And years ago we did give away an entire truck full of items that we wanted to get rid of. Most were clothing and bedding items and we gave it all away to the Salvation Army. I still have a photo of the back of that truck and all the stuff that was in it. There was so much stuff in there that it went all the way to the top. Years ago we sold stuff at an indoor flea market and someone who was also selling clothes and stuff decided to leave but they didn’t want to take all the stuff with them so they gave it all to us to sell, lol. So we had loads of clothing and all sorts of other items that they didn’t want anymore.

And when we left the indoor flea market we had all this stuff left over so we just gave it to the Salvation Army one day and that was the end of that, lol. It’s amazing isn’t it? I think so. Anyway, that’s all I wanted to tell you about today. I have no new tags to show you today but I might make a new one this morning before hubs wakes up to go to work. Thanks for stopping by and hugs,

3 new tags

Yesterday when trying to decide what to do next I thought I would make a new tag. Well, that changed from me making 1 tag to 3. Most of the time when I start making a tag I will stop after making that one, but for some reason I knew exactly what tags I wanted to make and with what graphics too. I had been looking through all the graphics that I had recently made and came across a few that I thought would make some great looking tags.

Now, one of the graphics needed to have the background removed and so I decided to send it through the AI background remover generator. Well, it did a really crappy job of removing the background so I ended up having to do it myself and I’m pretty happy with the result. It was a really pretty fairy and everything was great except for her feet because they had some flowers sticking on top of them and after removing the flowers the feet came out kind of choppy looking, so instead of trying to paint her feet back on, I decided to place another flower over them in the tag and it worked out okay, even though you can still see her feet, lol.

I think that’s one of the things we always overlook when creating with graphics sometimes. Instead of trying so hard to fix the graphic (which doesn’t always work out like we planned) we can just place something on top of it which is a really quick fix. Anyway, that’s what I decided to do and it looks just fine IMHO.

So, this first tag was created using 2 graphics that I made. A few years ago I made a tag that I really liked using a PTU artist tube and wanted to see if I could make something similar with the same theme. So, that’s what I did and I really like how it turned out. Of course it’s a rather simple looking tag but I do like the simplicity of it. It showcases the graphics and that was what I was going for anyway, lol.

Now, this second tag was using the fairy graphic I made and the one I told you about in the paragraph above. I really like how this tag turned out and even though it wasn’t easy getting the background removed from her, I think it turned out alright in the end.

And finally this last tag was created using 3 of the fashion ladies I mentioned in a prior post about the platinum blonde hair fashion graphics. Now, I wanted to use only 1 graphic but couldn’t decide which one I liked the best so instead of choosing only one I thought, why not just use all 3 of them?

So, that’s what I did and I really love how it turned out. I was smart enough when I was creating these graphics to use a white background so I could remove it more easily later when making a new tag. I only wish I would have thought about that when I was making all those fairy graphics, lol. Oh well.
