A New Tag

Posted on by ModGirl

So, sometimes I like to go through my PTU tube folder and see what I can make using these old tubes I purchased long ago. Yesterday while I was busy creating tags for members of  a tag group I stopped and made a new tag. I really like how this one turned out and it might seem simple to some but I like it just fine.

Now that reminds me of something else I wanted to talk about. I have been seeing lots of tags come through groups and on these tags are LOTS of images. Now, don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with that but every once in awhile I’ll see a tag and think, man, that seems a little overkill with all those added images on the tag.

Is this starting to become the new norm where sig tags are concerned? Because if it is, I might need to reconsider  the way I make my tags in the future. Anyway, that’s my thought for the day, lol. Thanks for stopping by and hugs,

Holiday Tags Showoff

Posted on by ModGirl

Sitting at my computer yesterday with my Paint Shop Pro open, I thought about what kind of tag I wanted to make next and decided to look through my tube folder of all the Holiday themed graphics I’ve been making recently. I found a few images that I wanted to use. One from my Halloween folder and 2 from my Saint Patrick Day folder.

So, I got busy making a couple of new tags. This Halloween themed tag started out as a cluster frame that I found in a digital scrap kit folder off my external hard drive. Since it was Halloween themed I decided to see what I could make with it and I think this tag turned out pretty good. What do you think?

And this last tag was created using 2 of the images from my Saint Patrick Day graphics folder. The background papers I used are from that graphic site where I have a paid subscription and I also used a tag template that I had on one of my external hard drives too.

Using a tag template is something I used to do years ago but I never use them anymore. So when I was making this particular tag I decided to look through my tag template folder of all the tag templates I had collected over the years and 1 stood out so I decided to use it. And I must say, I am surprised at how much I like this tag. Maybe I should consider using more of these tag templates in the future, lol.

New Tags

Posted on by ModGirl

I created some new tags recently and thought I would show them off today. This first tag was created using images from that subscription site where I have a paid subscription. When I was searching through the site for cute dogs I came across this cutie and knew I had to make a new tag using it. The background I used for the layered mask is also from that site too. I wanted the tag to show case the image of the dog and that’s why I kept this tag simple.

This next tag was created using one of the images I created. This image (along with many others) has been added to my paid subscription area. You can learn more about my paid subscription area HERE.

I Love Autumn

Posted on by ModGirl

Autumn is my most favorite season and Thanksgiving is my most favorite Holiday. Mainly because of the colors. I love to see the leaves change colors and it makes the countryside so pretty. And Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday because its time you spend with family and the food is so good. Families tend to reminisce about older times and funny things that happened when we were younger. And although I know not all family members get along with each other, but at Thanksgiving it gives us a chance to forgive others and to give thanks to those we love. And what better way to do that than to spend time over the family table while eating some good food?

Anyway, thinking about Autumn made me create a new tag today. I decided to go through one of my animal folders of Autumn themed animals that I made. I remember making these sweet little pups with Autumn leaves awhile ago and chose this particular one holding a basket full of them. Now, tell me, how adorable is that?

Oh and before I go, don’t forget that I still have some tag offers that are available here at my site. Just check the categories in the drop down menu to the right and choose Tag Offers and you’ll find all of them. Thanks for stopping by and hugs,
