Tag Tutorials?

Okay, so many years ago I used to create tag tutorials. And I also had them all saved on my old computer until it just up and quit on me one day. Alas, all that work was gone for good and there was no way to get it back. Since that happened, I have somehow found the time to do a couple of tag tutorials and even added those here to my site too but alas, just like time those things also disappear after awhile too.

Now I am telling you this about my tag tutorials because I do own 2 domain names that would be useful for tag tutorial sites and I am thinking about opening one of them. And since I only have 2 (maybe 3) tag tutorials that I have actually saved I thought I might get back to creating some more of those tag tutorials in the future. I am always getting complimented on my tags and some folks have even asked me about how I make them so what better way to show someone but to offer a tag tutorial?

Anyway, I thought I would give that a go and see where it leads. You never know, I might enjoy it OR it might be something that is too time consuming and I might decide later to stop doing it completely. You just never know, right?

New Tag!

So, I was playing in psp and decided to create a new tag. I’ve really been trying to create more Christmas themed tags lately and sometimes they might turn out and other times I look at the tag after I made it and think; well, it’s just okay. This particular tag I think is just okay. I probably could have done a better job but I did have some other things I was dealing with at the moment also. And I always find that when you have your mind elsewhere when doing any graphic stuff, it will never turn out like you planned.

So, the best advice I can give (not only to myself, lol) is to make sure you’re completely into what you are doing, when you are doing it. Or else you will end up with something that is just “okay”. And I don’t know about you, but if I know that I could do better, then I need to focus on doing just that. Doing better. That’s some good advice for anyone.

Closed Tag Extras website

After thinking it over for awhile, I decided to close my TagExtras.com website. The reason being that I have an online group now with the same name and there isn’t much use of having both. Plus, running a forum uses up more bandwidth in my web hosting account and I also don’t feel like keeping that site updated all the time either.

Running a self hosted forum is much different than running an online group. Using an online group, all there is to do after setting it up is to send emails. That’s it. NO updates are needed and you can spend the rest of your day doing other things. What’s not to like about that? lol.

Anyway, I also removed my ClipartBee.com website too. I set up that site as a paid subscription area, but just like my JunkJournalPaper.com website, no one seemed too interested in joining it either. However, I decided to keep my JunkJournalPaper.com website because I do make handmade journals and thought I would share some of those previews of what I am working on and journals that I already made. And who knows, I might even make a few videos of creating journals too and add those to the site. You never know, right?

Good Morning!

Today is my birthday! Happy birthday to me, lol. OMG, I am getting so old. And you know how I know I’m getting old? My body keeps fighting with me. One day I might feel fantastic and the next day, it’s like my body decided to go on strike or something. And when the temperatures drop (like they have been lately) my body goes through these changes. Years ago when we had a big snow fall here, I fell off the back steps from the ice on them. I landed on my ass and I think I cracked my tail bone because now whenever it rains or it gets cold, my back hurts like crazy.

And these days, it’s not only my back but also my hands and my feet hurt sometimes too. I guess from all the years of walking so much and crafting with my hands does make a difference later in life. When I lived in AZ I would strap one of my kids in a stroller and walk from one place to another. Once I walked from Phoenix to Glendale in a day. I would do stuff like that almost everyday too. And it’s crazy to think how you did things in the past that you would never do today.

Anyway, just thinking about how old I am today. I guess birthdays will do that to a person. I hope you have a wonderful day today! I’m going to try to have one myself and see how that goes. Thanks for stopping by and hugs,

Animated Tags

I was asked once whether I created animated tags or not. Well, sometimes and I absolutely have to be in the mood when creating them. Over the years I have made so many tags for others but sometimes I might enhance one of these tags for myself by animating it. I do this not just because I feel like it, but also because I will look at a tag and think how it might look better with an animation. Below are a few of the tags I’ve animated. If you received any of these tags that were NOT animated, it’s because I decided to animate the tags years after I created them. And hence the reason why the tag you have is NOT animated, lol.
