So, if you’re like me, you can’t stand clutter of any kind. I hate trying to find things in my own house and knowing that I darn well have the thing I’m looking for. But do you think I can find it anywhere? Uh, nope. Not at all. Anyway, the past few weeks I have taken it upon myself (because hubs refuses to help, lol) to de-clutter my home and organize everything in the process. This has been a VERY daunting task considering all the years of junk that we have collected.
To date I have cleared out 2 rooms. The back bedroom has everything thrown in there when we didn’t know where to put something. So I’m sure you can imagine the fun I’ve been having sorting through all of that. It has been a PITA but I have managed to make a little dent in that room. Thank heavens for determination on my part or nothing would ever get done in this place, lol.
And omg, the stuff you collect can boggle the mind. I found a few items and ended up scratching my head as to when and where I got them. I still have no clue even after talking to hubs about it because he doesn’t know either. LOL. That’s really funny don’t you think?
Anyway, I was sitting here the other day and got updated by windows and also received a message telling me that I needed to cross over to windows 11. But it then goes on to say that my computer can’t have windows 11 added to it. Because apparently my processor doesn’t work properly with windows 11. Yeah, go figure. Now, I don’t know about you but I’m def NOT going to purchase a brand new computer just so I can upgrade to the newest version of Windows software. First of all, I hate all versions of Windows except for Windows XP which I loved and I hate that they gave up on that version. It just seems to me that greed is all they think about these days. Like how much more can we get from everyone by creating a brand new version. Hey, here’s an idea. Instead of creating new stuff all the time, why not FIX the thing so it works like it’s supposed to.
But I guess that never crossed there minds, lol. But again, it’s the greed. They got to get more money from all of us some way or another. Well, I’m not doing it. Everyone else can throw away there money and keep upgrading each time they come up with a new version but me, nope. I’m done. And I just signed up for 1 more year of updates for windows 10 and after that 1 year is over I will either stop computing completely or I will switch to Linux. I heard that Linux is way better than Windows anyway and it’s actually FREE. Now that’s something I can wrap my head around.
