I just found something interesting when doing an online search. I typed in Signature Tags and what the search engines showed was NOTHING that had to do with signature tags that I have always known. When I first started making signature tags (many years ago) I could do a search online and it would take me to taggers websites, blogs and forums where they would offer tags for request and sets of tag extras for download.
And I’m not sure when this has all changed in the search engines and why now you can’t hardly find ANY taggers websites like before. It’s very strange to me and it makes me wonder WHY this has happened. Have taggers stopped making signature tags? And am I the only one left out here making them? And what’s even stranger is if you do a search for signature tag extras. It doesn’t show ANY sites that offer sets of tag extras. It only offers links to other sites that IMHO has NOTHING to do with signature tags.
Honestly, I have no idea what is going on with these search engines and wth has happened to making signature tags and sharing those signature tags on your own website. It’s like they have all been wiped from existence and it’s really upsetting when you think about it because it makes you wonder WHAT ELSE has been wiped off the search engines.
Since I have learned all this I have tried adding some meta tags in my posts that will be picked up by the search engines. So, lets see if that makes a difference. And if these search engines think they can just get rid of all us taggers well, this old tagger here isn’t going away that easily. I’m going to be around for at least a little while longer if I can help it.
