So, I added my TaggersWorld.com website back online along with a forum where members could participate in tag challenges, tag tutorials, MOTW and even request tags when they were offered. I am beginning to wonder if that was a bad idea on my part. I added a tag offer and so far there has been 1 person to request that tag and after I made her tag she still has not even checked to see if the tag has been added to the forum or not. Here’s a hint; IT HAS been added and ready for pickup but alas it will be deleted after 1 weeks time and at this rate I doubt she will ever receive it.
So, here lies my problem once again because I had this same problem the first time I added the TaggersWorld.com website and members who did join did the very same thing. They forgot all about the tags they requested so I had to send emails to them to remind them of it. And I look at it like this, if I need to send emails to remind people then why have a forum? I could serve that same purpose by sending emails through an online group instead.
Now, I have thought about doing that. Creating an online group for TaggersWorld. But I’m pretty sure the same thing would happen all over again. No one was interested in the tag challenges or the tag tutorials. All they cared about was the MOTW and the tag offers. And most who added there name to the MOTW activity never wanted to help spoil the MOTW each week either. Which brings me to the conclusion that adding my TaggersWorld site and online group is and was a mistake. So I will probably end up removing it too. I already removed my TagExtras.com website from my webhost account and reopened my online group with the same name. But TaggersWorld? Nope, I don’t think I will even bother with that one again. I just think it would be a waste of time on my part and since no one seemed too interested in it anyway why should I?
